What is ecoScorecard?

ecoScorecard is a fast, easy-to-use web-based tool that searches a manufacturer’s database and allows users to evaluate and document products against the major environmental rating systems and compliance of various 3rd party certifications.

Does it cost anything to use ecoScorecard?

No, this is a free service provided to the end-user by the manufacturer.

Can I save my search for products?

Yes, but you are required to register to save any searches/projects.

How long will my information be saved?

Your information will be stored for up to 1 year from the last time saved.

How many projects can I create?

An unlimited amount of projects can be saved in the system.

Will the manufacturer contact me after I register?

No, your information is secure and will not be shared unless you specify that you would like to be contacted. Please review our privacy policy and terms of use for specifics.

Which rating systems can ecoScorecard use to evaluate products?

Currently ecoScoreacard evaluates products against all LEED rating systems, (i.e. NC v 2.2 CI, CS, EB, LEED for Canada NC and CI), CHPS, GGHC, LABS21) and compliance for all prevalent 3rd Party Certifications.

Are Residential rating systems included on ecoScorecard?

Yes, residential homes rating systems including but not limited to LEED H, LEED ND and NAHB are represented.

Does ecoScorecard produce the documentation needed for submittal?

ecoScorecard generates a particular product’s documentation for inclusion in the submission process, however, it does NOT create your final submission document for LEED or equivalent rating system.

How do I contact ecoScorecard support?

If any problems arise please contact us at support@ecoScorecard.com and we will get back to you ASAP during normal business hours. Users may send in a feedback 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Will ecoScorecard work on a mac?

Yes, ecoScorecard is a web-based application that works on both PC and Mac platforms.

What browsers can I use with ecoScorecard?

ecoScorecard has been optimized for Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, but is viewable on almost all browsers.
